About Me

Growing up surrounded by art in Cd. Juarez, Mexico made me always have a strong interest in my culture. I love the colors, shapes, and histories that you see in Mexican art.

In 2012 I moved to LA and started selling all sorts of things at Venice beach, from jewelry to terrariums. I then began working at a bakery where I learned cake decorating. While working here I took a class at a pottery studio in LA.  After my first class I realized that working with clay was similar to working with fondant, and I was able to transfer my skills in a way that let me fully explore my creativity with clay.

After several classes I was offered the opportunity to teach, and soon after I realized that pottery was my calling.

MUNISA Ceramica started in 2019. With my pottery I hope to bring out the colors and roots of my Mexican culture.

This is just the beginning of what's to come, thank you for joining my journey!
