Dia De Muertos Flower Workshop

Join us on Sunday October, 22nd from 5-8pm on our Dia de Muertos Clay Flower and Skull Decoration Workshop, a unique and artistic experience that invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of Dia de Muertos. In this collaborative class, you will learn to sculpt various types of clay flowers and use them to adorn a handmade skull sculpture, resulting in a stunning and personalized Catrina-inspired masterpiece.

Class Highlights:

    1. Clay Flower Crafting: Get ready to unleash your creativity as you dive into the world of clay flower crafting. I will guide you through the process of molding and shaping clay into beautiful, lifelike flowers. You'll learn various techniques to create petals, leaves, and intricate details, allowing you to craft a unique bouquet of Dia de Muertos-inspired blooms.

    2. Handcrafted Skull Sculpture: Each participant will receive a premade skull sculpture, lovingly handcrafted by me. This skull serves as your canvas, ready to be transformed into a stunning Catrina representation. The collaboration begins as you bring this skull to life with your clay flowers.

    3. Talavera-style Painting: Once your clay flowers are secured in place, you'll dive into the world of Talavera-style underglazing. Discover the beauty of this traditional Mexican ceramic art as you paint intricate patterns and designs on your skull. Talavera painting adds depth, character, and authenticity to your Dia de Muertos creation.
